5) Why can’t my attorney lend me the money?
Attorneys are strictly prohibited by the American Bar Association from lending funds to their clients for anything other than case expenses. It can create conflict between the attorney and his client when the two cannot agree on the terms of a settlement or whether to proceed to trial.

6) What’s the difference between funding from AM Legal Funding and a loan?
Loans must be repaid whether you succeed or fail. AM Legal Funding only gets repaid from the proceeds of your settlement if your case is resolved successfully.

7) When is repayment due?
In return for the pre-settlement dollars provided by AM Legal Funding, there will be a specific repayment amount, due and payable only if and after the case resolves successfully.

8) If I win the case, what are the interest rates or fees?
Funding fees will vary according to each and every case. The details of your repayment amount will be clearly detailed for you prior to signing an agreement.

9) What do I owe AM Legal Funding if I lose my case?
Absolutely nothing. In the event your case is lost, you still keep 100% of the money. AM Legal Funding only gets repaid if you win your case.
